In this class we will be building a trendy, open-flat leather cosmetic bag complete with zipper and liner. The construction of this bag focuses on skill building with zipper, fabric liner, and gusset installation. We will discuss leather options for giving this bag structure without excess bulk, fabric options for the liner that easily wipe clean, and other materials for bag construction that will help your understanding in bag making and design. You will go home with a complete cosmetic bag and pattern to make future products for your customers. 

What to Bring:

• Stone or glass surface to skive on

• Small cutting mat

• Pen or pencil

• Skiving knife

• Scalpels-will be provided if you don’t have your own.

• 4x12 quilting ruler (or similar size)

• Silver pen

• Sharpie

• Scissors

• Rotary Knife

• Cutting mat

• Edger

• Wing dividers
